MICHELLE HO, Editorial Manager
Michelle Ho (何晓箖) has experience as a writer, documentary producer, and branding & PR consultant. Complementary to her role as the Editorial Manager and exclusive writer for Peking Art Associates’ exhibitions, Michelle is a partner at Yuanfang Media, the Emmy-award winning team behind Last Train Home, Fallen City and China Heavy Weight where she is involved in documentary film and branded content development and production. Before joining the independent documentary and art world, Michelle was Branded Content Manager at DMG Entertainment (a China-based movie studio and 4A advertising company) where she developed creative content, formats and end-to-end entertainment solutions for clients. During her career, she has written and published numerous articles, speeches, scripts, opinion editorials and storylines for print, online and TV media, including contemporary art reviews.
Michelle has worked at China Central Television and comes from a public affairs and public relations background with global agencies APCO and Hill & Knowlton. A U.K.-born, Hong Kong native, Michelle holds a B.A. Hons in PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) from Oxford University and an M.A. in Modern Literature from University College London. Michelle counts the works of Plato, Jorge Luis Borges and C.S. Lewis amongst her favourites. She is currently writing her first novel about a city of competing magical estates.
Michelle is Peking Art Associates’ exclusive writer and researcher of both gallery artists and earlier works of Chinese contemporary by established artists.
Michelle speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
